Reload Mode reviews weekly analytics reports to track organic traffic growth, top landing pages, and form conversion rates for each client.
Data-driven companies are 23 times more likely to acquire customers, 6 times more likely to retain customers, and 19 times more likely to be profitable — according to McKinsey's research on the value of data-driven decision making.
What it applies to
Every live website. Analytics should be configured before launch — not as an afterthought — so baseline data exists from day one.
Analytics setup checklist
- Install GA4 via Google Tag Manager on all pages.
- Configure conversion events for every meaningful action: form submission, CTA click, demo booking, file download, phone number click.
- Set up UTM parameters for all traffic sources — email, paid campaigns, social posts.
- Connect Google Search Console to GA4 — this surfaces keyword data alongside on-site behaviour.
- Install a heat-mapping tool (Hotjar or Clarity) for qualitative session data.
- Build a custom GA4 dashboard or Looker Studio report that surfaces the 5–8 metrics that matter most for the business.
What to measure and review
- Weekly: Total sessions, conversion rate, top converting pages, traffic by source.
- Monthly: Organic traffic trend, keyword ranking movement (via GSC), top exit pages, form completion rates.
- Quarterly: Full funnel analysis, landing page performance review, content performance (organic traffic per page), and ROI calculation.
